AE Gil Eanes held a meeting with CASLAS within the project promoting Emotional Intelligence in education. Facilitated by social educator Patrícia Almeida, the session introduced the project’s aims and expected impact on the school community. CASLAS representatives shared their experience supporting vulnerable families and young people, emphasising the importance of empathy, emotional support and inclusive practices. The discussion underlined how Emotional Intelligence strengthens relationships, communication and student well‑being. The meeting also identified opportunities for collaboration, reinforcing a community‑based approach that brings schools and social institutions together to promote inclusion and personal development.
