Erasmus+ Lesson “Let’s Play with Emotions” Brings Emotional Intelligence into the English Classroom (LER)

Vaslui, Romania – April 29, 2026 – Students of class IX E at the “Emil Racoviță” Theoretical High School in Vaslui participated in an innovative English lesson entitled “Let’s Play with Emotions”, coordinated by teacher Virginia-Hortensia Pracsiu. The activity was organized במסגרת the European Erasmus+ project “Emotional Intelligence Approach on Teaching Methods” (Project No. 2024–1‑ES01-KA220-SCH-000253249), which focuses on integrating emotional intelligence into education.

The lesson went beyond traditional grammar-based instruction, exploring the dynamic connection between language and emotions. By applying the “Learning by Doing” approach, students engaged in role-playing games and mime exercises, supported by colorful props that encouraged creativity and active participation.
