International seminar among experts in Vaslui

International seminar among experts in Vaslui

Teachers from Italy, Portugal, Spain, and Finland gathered in Vaslui, Romania, from December 2 to 4 for a working meeting hosted by the Emil Racoviță High School, a partner in the Erasmus+ project “Emotional Intelligence Approach on Teaching Methods.”

Several sessions were dedicated to exchanging good practices in education, with the aim of introducing modern teaching methods that increase student motivation and create safe, empathetic, and inclusive learning environments.

In addition to the study activities envisaged by the project, the teachers clearly also participated in some recreational activities during which they had the opportunity to discover the places and customs of the places where most of them first found themselves.

Representatives of the “Emil Racoviță” High School in Vaslui were part of the Quality Control Committee, the body that oversees compliance with the standards established in the Erasmus+ work plan. Emphasis was placed on the training and analysis activities, but it was considered essential that the partners in the four countries also knew some aspects related to Vaslui’s cultural identity.

The project was important and underlines the consolidation of European cooperation in the field of education for the acquisition of modern pedagogical practices, adapted to the current needs of students across Europe. In addition to participating in the training and analysis activities, guests had the opportunity to discover the cultural specificity of this area of Romania. The program of the stay also included a visit to the Sauca Village Museum, where participants learned some of the local traditions and were able to explore, with great enthusiasm, the local gastronomy, awaiting the next joint meeting.
