Kick off meeting
On January 29, 2025, the First Coordination Meeting of the Emotional Intelligence Approach on Teaching Methods project took place in Naantali, Finland. Hosted by Naantalin Lukio and coordinated by Asociación Iniciativa Internacional Joven (AIIJ, Spain), the meeting gathered project partners from Spain, Finland, Italy, Portugal, and Romania to lay the foundation for this 24-month Erasmus+ initiative.
The project aims to integrate Emotional Intelligence (EI) methodologies into secondary school education, equipping teachers with innovative pedagogical tools to better support students’ academic and emotional development.
Key Highlights of the Meeting
- Project Overview & Objectives – Partners reviewed the project’s structure, goals, and timeline, ensuring alignment on key tasks.
- Work Package Presentations – Each organization presented their role in Work Packages (WPs) focused on project management, pedagogical development, and dissemination.
- Implementation Strategy – A roadmap was established for creating training materials, online courses, and international seminars.
- Quality Assurance & Monitoring – Clear guidelines were set for tracking progress, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
- Dissemination Plan – Partners agreed on strategies to maximize project visibility through websites, events, and social media.
This meeting marked a crucial milestone in fostering collaboration and setting the groundwork for impactful educational tools that will support teachers and students across Europe.
