LICEUL TEORETIC EMIL RACOVIȚĂ VASLUI

At Liceul Teoretic “Emil Racoviță” Vaslui, Geography teachers used the Erasmus+ project “Emotional Intelligence Approach on Teaching Methods” (2024–1‑ES01-KA220-SCH-000253249) to design a lesson that linked agriculture with emotional awareness.

Students examined different types of agriculture worldwide and reflected on the challenges, emotions, and resilience of farmers living in diverse environments. This approach encouraged empathy, intercultural understanding, and the ability to connect geographical knowledge with human experiences.

The lesson illustrates how Geography can go beyond maps and landforms to become a tool for social-emotional learning. The material has been integrated into the OTC resources, offering teachers an interdisciplinary method of teaching with emotional intelligence.
