Integrated Learning: Time Zones and Emotional Awareness
In a cross-curricular approach developed within the Erasmus+ project “Emotional Intelligence Approach on Teaching Methods” (2024–1‑ES01-KA220-SCH-000253249), students at Liceul Teoretic “Emil Racoviță” Vaslui studied time zones alongside reflections on empathy and intercultural communication.
The lesson encouraged learners to imagine life in different parts of the world, reflect on patience in communication, and understand the importance of perspective-taking in a globalized society.
This interdisciplinary activity highlighted how emotional intelligence can deepen understanding of global issues. The content will enrich the Online Training Course (OTC), offering teachers concrete examples of integrating empathy and intercultural competence into their lessons.
